Music is our passion and we believe that music is the best way to teach children how to grow socially and emotionally. Introducing music young also helps children develop their fine and gross motor skills. Magic Steps Music is all about helping your child learn and develop into the amazing humans they are meant to be!

Ms. Brooke- Founder
Magic Steps Music Teacher
Ms. Brooke’s passion for children and music inspired the creation of Magic Steps Music. She has been teaching music to children for over 14 years and has dedicated her career to helping young learners grow through joyful, engaging musical experiences.
As a former Music Together and Ladybug Music teacher, Ms. Brooke spent years searching for a program that fully aligned with her vision for the songs, activities, and experiences she wanted to bring to children and families. When she couldn’t find exactly what she was looking for, she decided to create it herself. The result was Magic Steps Music—a program designed to inspire learning, connection, confidence, and creativity through music.
Ms. Brooke is excited to share her original songs with families and help children grow into independent, confident, and fearless learners. Her goal is to create meaningful experiences that foster a lifelong love of music while supporting each child’s development.
When she’s not teaching, you can find Ms. Brooke exploring hiking trails, traveling, spending time with her two children, or enjoying a day at the beach with her dog, Duke.
Mr. Robinson
Magic Steps Music Teacher
Mr. Robinson brings incredible energy, enthusiasm, and fun to every Magic Steps Music class he teaches. With an extensive background in music education, he has spent years sharing his love of music with children and helping young learners build confidence through engaging musical experiences.
In addition to teaching with Magic Steps Music, Mr. Robinson leads music at his church and provides private music lessons for older students. His passion for teaching and performing shines through in every class, creating a joyful and welcoming environment for children and families alike.
Known as the "High Five King," Mr. Robinson loves celebrating each child's successes and encouraging them to participate, explore, and have fun through music. His positive attitude and playful spirit make him a favorite among families.
When he's not teaching, Mr. Robinson enjoys spending time with his wife, Crystal, and their two boys.
Mr. Ryan
Magic Steps Music Teacher
Mr. Ryan brings over 30 years of experience entertaining and educating children and families. With 25 years as a teacher and performer with Gymboree Play & Music, he has dedicated much of his career to creating joyful, engaging experiences that help children learn and grow through music.
In addition to his work in early childhood education, Mr. Ryan performs professionally with his brother as part of the Kalama Brothers. His diverse entertainment background includes work in television, film, podcasts, and Disney concerts, giving him a wealth of experience connecting with audiences of all ages.
Mr. Ryan is known for bringing his upbeat, happy, and friendly personality to every class he teaches. His enthusiasm, warmth, and love of music create an inviting environment where children and caregivers feel comfortable singing, dancing, and learning together.
When teaching with Magic Steps Music, Mr. Ryan combines his professional musical talent with his passion for early childhood education to create memorable experiences that families look forward to each week.
When he is not teaching and performing, Mr. Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children, making memories together and enjoying all that nature has to offer.
Ms. Chelsea
Magic Steps Music Teacher
Ms. Chelsea is a talented singer-songwriter who has spent the past decade sharing her love of music with children. With years of experience teaching music, including ukulele instruction, she has helped countless young learners discover confidence, creativity, and joy through music.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Chelsea performs regularly at venues and events throughout San Diego, bringing her passion for music to audiences of all ages. She is dedicated to creating fun, engaging musical experiences that inspire children to sing, dance, and explore the world around them.
Known for her bubbly personality and sunny disposition, Ms. Chelsea brings warmth, energy, and excitement to every class and birthday party she leads. Her joyful spirit is contagious, creating a welcoming environment where children feel encouraged to participate, have fun, and express themselves through music.
Ms. Chelsea is passionate about sharing the magic of music with children and loves helping families create meaningful memories through song, movement, and play.
Mr. Ramon
Magic Steps Music Teacher
Mr. Ramon is the youngest member of the Magic Steps Music teaching team, bringing incredible talent, passion, and creativity to every class and birthday party he leads. A gifted guitarist with amazing vocals, Mr. Ramon has a natural ability to connect with children and families through the power of music.
In addition to teaching, Mr. Ramon is a singer-songwriter who writes and records his own original music, which can be found on Spotify. His dedication to his craft and love of performing shine through in every musical experience he creates.
Known for his cool, calm demeanor and positive energy, Mr. Ramon creates a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable exploring, learning, and having fun. Whether he is leading songs in a class, performing at a birthday party, or sharing one of his favorite instruments, his genuine passion for music is contagious.
Mr. Ramon loves helping children discover the joy of music and is excited to inspire the next generation of confident, creative, and fearless learners through every Magic Steps Music experience.
Jennifer
Operations Manager
Jennifer is the Operations Manager for both Magic Steps Music and Farm School OC/SD and is the friendly voice behind the calls, emails, and text messages families receive. She plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring that families have a seamless and positive experience from registration and beyond.
Jennifer oversees a wide range of operations, including park and facility rentals, private event bookings, website updates, social media management, customer relations, and day-to-day administrative support. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to helping families make her an invaluable part of the Magic Steps Music and Farm School OC/SD teams.
When she’s not working, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and three children. An avid animal lover, she regularly fosters kittens and Boxers, helping them find loving forever homes. Whether caring for animals, supporting families, or keeping operations running smoothly, Jennifer brings compassion and enthusiasm to everything she does.
Her favorite place to be is the beach, where she enjoys soaking up the sunshine and making memories with her family.
